We want every parent to know that your student’s spiritual growth is our top priority at First Methodist Sherman. We take great steps to ensure a safe, secure environment, where students may discover the truth in Jesus Christ. Our hope is that they connect and grow deeper in their walk with Christ. There are many ways you as a parent can get involved in supporting the spiritual growth of your student each week. There is no more important work than that of raising up committed, bold student leaders of the faith and you are critical in that equation. Please begin by spending a moment each day in prayer for this ministry.

Volunteer!
Our youth ministry is always looking for caring adults to be role models for our kids! You can help by being a Sunday school teacher, a second adult for weekly activities, or even the occasional special event volunteering!
All volunteers must be ministry-safe certified and background checked.
